Where do you find older (cheaper) versions of shoes?

My H has Brooks Glycerin 7s.  He likes them but *really* needs new ones....Brooks is making a version 10 now. 

I read in other posts that you can find older versions for cheaper than the current version but I can't find the post to see where you guys find these older versions.  Everything but versions 9 and 10 are sold out when I Google and even the 9s are still over $100. 

Where else should I look?  TIA.

TBH, if they've updated it 3 times, they haven't made that shoe in years, and I'm not sure you'll find it anywhere. eBay maybe?

Those high cushion shoes are pricy, if you see a version for $100 that's not bad. IIRC the Glycerin is around $140 regularly.

I'm still paying $97 at my LRS for the 9s. They're the Rolls Royce of shoes, apparently. And yes, the 10s are $140. :/

I doubt you can find 3 year old shoes... or at least, it will be very hard to find them. You might be able to find last year's model, the 9s.

I found 9s for $90 on one of the links shorty20 gave so that looks like our best bet. He got the 7s years ago for $40 when they were coming out with the 8s so we didn't realize how expensive they were new.

I love my Ravenna's so he's looking at those for himself too possibly.
