I have not been able to run since my 1/2 on the 10th of March. My IT band is killing me. I took all last week off to rest it because it still hurt just to walk. Well Sunday I was supposed to run 16 miles. My leg and knee didn't hurt anymore so I got up at 6 am and was out the door. 1.5 miles in I had to call my husband to come get me because it was hurting. It wasnt excruciating pain by my throught process was I would do more damage then good if I completed that run. Well I havent run since then. Today on my lunch break I got on the treadmill and got.3 miles and it started to scream at me again.
What can I do? I have a full 7 weeks out and I am nervous. If you were me what can I do? At this point my goal is just to complete my race. What would you have your scheduled runs look like at this point? What should I do about the pain. I am currently doing lots of stretching and foam rolling. Anything else I can do?

I saw a chiropractor who does ART when I was having really bad IT band issues a month before my marathon. I went from my IT bands screaming at me every run to almost pain free in 3 sessions.
