So, I posted earlier about my mom and sister. We have all been trying to get into shape, eating better, and being more active. My mom isn't very helpful, and sorta a bitch towards me and my sister, about our weight, what we eat, anything else she can latch on. You know, mom knows best. I don't put up with it, but my sister is easily pushed over by mom. Well, they came down this weekend to spend the weekend as a girls weekend. We went shopping, and my mom decided to try and pull a prank. She got a size 8 jean and put it on a size 12 hanger for me to try on. Shes done this before, to my sister. The surprise was on her, since they fit! I even bought them, cause they looked awesome, and ended up .85 after coupons and discounts. Turns out, my mom isn't the thinner one now. She has gone up since shes not eating well, and now I weigh in less then she does by about 10 lbs. I secretly did the happy dance in my head, and my mom refused to believe it. I got a top secret high five from my sister too.

Fitting into that perfect pair of jeans is such an awesome feeling! Yay! But, seriously your Mom is whacko -- I just can't even pick my jaw up off the floor. Who thinks that's an appropriate way to treat a person?
Trust me, I have told my mom off. I didn't realize the joke till my sister told me. I wrote her out of my life for close to 10 years, only after my son was born letting her back in. I have no blinders when it comes to my mom. She actually has gotten better in the last couple of years. She grew up treated like that, and is slowly learning how to treat people better.
