My cousin posted this photo of me when I was four or five, on FB today..
and DH forwarded it to me because he was struck by the resemblance to our oldest grandson.
This was the first photo I found that showed the resemblance, (and I don't have recent photos on this computer), but he looks a bit more like my daughter than me, now that he is older. He still looks more like me than I had realized though.
Aw, neat! My mom and her siblings look so.much.alike. it's kind of scary. I don't really look like anybody, so I'd love to share my features with a relative like you do with your grandson.

I didn't look like my siblings...they used to tell me that I was adopted, that they had found me on the doorstep when I was an infant. I was kind of relieved when one of my kids looked a lot like my brother and sister did when they were babies.lol
My daughters are just starting to resemble each other...now that they are in their 30s. They looked nothing alike as children. People would actually ask me if one was adopted or if they had the same father. They do. ;p

Oh that's adorable! Look at that little guy!
My brother says that my niece looks like a carbon copy of me when I was a baby, not like him. And Monkey looked exactly like my mom when he was a baby too. I think Baby W looks more like my H right now than me, except the dimples. Those puppies are all me.
I always enjoy seeing pictures of H as a baby because he was a pale baby with super white hair and blue eyes and then his sister is darker skinned with dark hair and dark eyes and people did not believe that they were related, let alone full siblings lol.

You do look alike!
My first daughter is a clone of her dad. It is crazy. This new daughter looks more like me (and my mom) I'm embarrassed to admit how much this pleases me!
Check out these side by sides of DD1 & DH. (She's on the right)

She is a little clone!
I love seeing all of the things that are hereditary that you wouldn't think of...gestures, mannerisms, crinkling nose, etc.. My kids were not raised around their cousins or aunts and uncles, but there are certain mannerisms that all of the cousins have that are exactly like my brother. It is kind of spooky.
Emo- My oldest daughter is darker skinned, like me and my youngest is fair, and my oldest daughter's oldest is darker and her younger one fair skinned too. My brother was the bridge color-wise between my sister and I (she is so fair that she freckles), he tans quite dark, and he ended up with a practically albino clone of himself with his daughter. She has his light eyes, but her skin is whiter than white (even paler than her her own mother's skin) and she is a blond. People used to give him the side-eye, like he was stealing her or something, but if they had looked at her features, they couldn't have missed that she was his.

Haha yes TBM! My MIL is also blonde, fair skin and blue eyes so I assume she got lots of looks when she had a young SIL with her.
Monkey has my coloring (dark hair, tans well, same green eyes) but Baby W totally has my H's coloring (the super pale, super blonde, beautiful blue eyes). There was no mistaking that me and my siblings were all related.
(My brother is not pictured, but imagine the same face with darker blonde curls lol)

You are all so cute!
Your photo reminded me of a family that was in the chorus my girls sang with. They had four or 5 children (both boys and girls), and the mom said that she couldn't tell their baby pictures apart. She said she could have just taken photos of the oldest and passed them off as being the others.lol

Haha yes! My dad has to ask me "which one of you is this?" on all the baby photos. My brother is the only one who looks different (born with dark black hair and always had darker hair than the rest of us).
