Wow, what a change! I'm drooling over that bathroom.
I have to be honest, I kind of liked the fixture in the dining room before - it was cool loooking. Was it sort of junky or something or just not your style?
You did a great job with the attic space! I think I remember you asking for advice about that (wasn't it you?). Anyway, it looks amazing and that bathroom is stunning. You guys have really worked the space very nicely. Great job!
simpsongal they just weren't our style. DH kind of liked them but I thought they were really ugly We put them out on the curb because we didn't think they were worth anything and someone took them home.
Oh I love the attic conversion! Such a big transformation. How long did that all take? Were you able to tie in with existing plumbing stacks and lines or was that a complete add?
I love it! Our house is similar, it's a half story with two rooms, one just a walk through type room into a bedroom. We have drawers built into the half wall, but there are 12 in my bedroom and then there's a bunch of nooks built into the other side, I think 6 on one side and four on my side. Then out in the walk through room there's 8 more drawers, and there's two doors to go into the crawl space. Anyways I love what you've done. I would love to add a bathroom but I don't know if it's too old and couldn't handle the weight of one. But I can still dream. great job!
FoxInFiji not that long, about 6-8 weeks, something like that? I was impressed by how fast they were. We were able to tie in with existing plumbing lines. We also got lucky because my BIL used to work for a company doing HVAC stuff and he was able to build us a unit for the second and third floors for cost using the space for what used to be the laundry shoot. It's actually a really impressive system, he did a great job. It has zones on the first and second floors and we can program it to turn off at a specific temperature and start sucking in cool air from the outside. We kept encouraging him to go into business for himself doing this but he decided to go in a different direction.
kermit Sherwin-Williams Creamery is in the bedroom and Flattering Peach is in the dining room.

So you have an outdoor air economizer? Cool! How do you access the unit? Is there an access door somewhere to reach it? So each floor is it's own zone or are there more than 2 zones? Does the fan ramp up (either multiple steps or linear VFD) to control all of those zones with one system? Kind of sounds like you have a small packaged commercial system instead of a typical residential because those are limited in what they can do. Sorry I design HVAC systems for a living so I'm curious.
Yes you are lucky to have a space to be able to route ductwork in such an old house. I installed ductwork in a house built in the early 1800's at my co-op and it was a bear to do.
