I am not feeling great and haven't left the couch all day. Any suggestions for movies, series, something funny or cute online, or do you have a good story?

I just started watching Breaking Bad for the first time and I love it! I downloaded all of Season 1 onto my phone to watch on the plane to Seattle, and then yesterday I laid around and watched part of Season 2.
While I was gone, my husband started watching Supernatural. That show, on the other hand, is terrible.

Can I tell you about the restaurant week lunch I had today? Ohmigawd, it was good. At Summer Winter (or Winter Summer, not sure) at the Marriott off 128 in Burlington. I "just" had a salad, cheeseburger and dessert, but the salad was to die for. So crunchy and fresh and cold. And it had a ton of avocado. Also came with sunflower seeds, jack cheese, a whole load of cherry tomatoes. With a buttermilk chervil dressing. So. Good. The burger was a bit ordinary ... no toppings offered (well, except cheese) but done to perfection and some kind of not-quite-sourdough roll. But the french fried -- holy hell, some of the best fries I've ever had at a non-mom-and-pop type establishment. You could literally hear them crunch from across the table! The gf I was with gave her crab cake a 10, too. And the dessert was a flourless chocolate tort(e) (I can never remember if it's the dessert or the legal term that takes the "e") that seemed more like a hockey-puck-sized smooooth godiva chocolate truffle with an almost paper-thin crispy bottom crust. Can you tell I like texture? I did not want the dessert to end. I have one more restaurant week adventure planned already; my husband's bff and I usually try to make it out once each time RW comes up and I haven't heard from him yet so maybe we'll do a Cambridge one next wee.
It just dawned on me that if you're sick on the couch a food post might not be the best thing for you to read, but the meal was so good and you seem like you appreciate a good restaurant, so I'm posting it anyway! I hope you feel better!
The geek in me got introduced to Firefly/Serenity not too long ago and I'm hooked.
Fantastic show. DH and I also didn't get into it until it was long off the air and I regret not having been a supporter early on, dorky as that sounds. The writing and acting are both so, so good.
A lot of people hated it when it was on the air, because the network flipped some of the episodes and people were hopelessly lost. I just met a guy who said he hated it then, but finally saw it on DVD and was in love. I am still planning to make a Jayne hat one of these days
