buy our dream house in Seattle, a decent house in London, donate some, give some away to family, take friends on a vacation, replenish my closet 10 fold from what it was, buy h some of his dream cards, buy myself a porsche panamera (don't hate!), and travel, travel, travel.
I dreamed about buying a Powerball ticket earlier this week and hadn't heard the $$ was up well. Maybe that means I should?
I don't know that I can come up with 10...nor what constitutes frivolous?
1. Get in contractors to redo the layout of upstairs to add in master bath & bay window. 2. Take a 2 week vacation somewhere hot and sunny! 3. Buy a macro lens for the camera I still can't even use well 4. Fly my friend from India out to visit and stay at our house to write her book away from the Indian heat that's starting already. 5. Complete warddrobe overhaul! 6. Get private meal service. 7. Go to part time at work so I can work on career and skill development or do an internship elsewhere for a better career path. 8. Hire in some landscapers to bust out a lot of the nitty-gritty yard work. 9. Get the rest of my dream house remodels done: basement dug out and fully finished to have a media room, lovely laundry room, storage area, and sauna. Build up the top of the garage into a cute studio apartment for guests. // contrary-wise, buy a house in a more dream location like Columbia City and renovate that. I love our house but I'd like to be closer to Seattle with easy access to light rail and gentrification like an awesome small butcher, Whole Foods, etc. 10. Deck the house out with media! Built in theater-style surround sound for the tv, etc, ether cable throughout house to connect the home network, new laptops and PCs and small tvs in the garage, kitchen, and my craft room.
Went in with my coworkers on a pool. May buy some for me and H too.
First things I would do 1) Quit my job 2) Consult a financial planner figure out if it makes sense to pay off our mortgage or what.
Frivolous things would mostly involve travel and eating at the best restaurants in the world. I would also hire a personal stylist and replace my entire wardrobe.

I never gamble, so I won't be getting a ticket.
But if I magically won, I would probably buy a house about $100,000 or $200,000 more than we are currently budgeting for, and plan a vacation somewhere warm. Then start researching going to grad school. I wouldn't want to change my life too much, but fast forward with my H and I's current life plans. Which would be possible with a bunch more money.
Even when the lottery is "worth it" I don't play. So this is just a list of "take that, MM board!" things to do.
* Get the most ridiculous, unnecessary cable+internet package ever. Every premium channel, every sports package, Google Fiber, you name it. * Get an unlimited data plan, buy new smartphones and tablets. * Get a membership at the WAC and Club Zum, because why not?! * Pay one of those meal delivery services to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner 6 days a week, leaving one day for fun. * Take at least one vacation a year that would put sfgal to shame * Buy season tickets to every local pro sports, and Huskies basketball. * Heck, buy season tickets to the Braves, and fly there once a month for a game. * Send the diapers to a cleaning service. * Lease a half dozen ridiculous cars. * Okay, I can only come up with nine .
A co-worker and I just went to 7-11 and bought our winning tickets.
1. Pay off parent's house and both my sibling's houses. 2. Start a college fun for my niece and nephews. 3. Purchase our dream house in Arizona. 4. Purchase a tricked out Chevy Tahoe. 5. Purchase a fun car for me (FINALLY!!!) 6. Take family on a trip to Ireland. 7. Go to Fiji for 3 weeks. 8. Throw a kick ass bbq/party for all our friends. 9. Purchase diamond studded collars for Lilly, Ashley & Wrigley. 10. Go to work at PetSmart (no seriously)
