Opening up yet another can of car seat worms? DS is turning 2 at the end of the April. He's RIGHT at the height limit for his seat (within an inch of the top of Britax Marathon). I might make it to his birthday. Would you personally buy another seat to RF longer or flip? FWIW, we have a tiny Focus, so the taller the seat the harder the front to back fit (which is already crazy tight) is going to be.
As someone with a tiny focus, I'd say a large seat could be more dangerous to your kids than FF, in my opinion. Blind spots are bad enough in those cars.

Thank you, I hadn't even thought of that. Yes, it is quite hard to see already.
Is Fiona in a convertible yet? If not I'd get L a new seat and put her in his. Maybe.
Yep, she is. :/
It could be worth it if you went with something like the Rasian/Diono that will end up FFing to a really high weight limit. You could avoid boosters. I think some of the new ones literally go to 120lbs. Anyways the right seat might be the last thing you ever need to buy him for the car. Otherwise I would choose to flip over buying a more short term seat.

The radian reviews say: This review is for the RXT model, which rear-faces from 5-45 lbs., becomes a forward-facing seat for 20-80 lbs., and can become a booster for 50-120 lbs.
But it is a very tall seat so you might have some visibility issues
I really despise how the carseats pretty much only advertise the weight limits and you have to dig to find the height limits. Most kids grow out in height and not weight. That's just my vent.

Britax actually lists the height from sitting which I think is even nicer. With our infant seat it only said the total height but if your baby has a long torso it doesn't matter.
