I'm looking for an argan oil to run through my hair before I blow dry. I have lots of thick wavy hair, that I normally blowdry straight (on the days that I wash my hair). I'm looking for something to help tame the frizzies and make my hair less poofy. I'm willing to consider non-argan oil products as well, that's just what I'm more familiar with.
I really like Josie Maran's Argan Oil Hair serum. I am also really liking Kerastase elixer ultime.
Aside from that, Frederick Fekkai glossing cream is good, as is a little bit of straight up organic extra virgin coconut oil (I use Nutiva brand).
I usually first put either glossing cream or coconut oil on my ends and frizziest parts of my hair, then will mix together a pump of the argan oil and a pump of the kerastase and work that through my hair, ends first.

I got the Kerastase in a birchbox and I loved it. When I ran out I went back to using the Frederick Fekkai glossing cream and I'm disappointed Kerastase is so freaking expensive though.... How does the Josie Maran compare to Kerastase?
Also I love the Organix Morrocan Argan Oil line. I use their shampoo and conditioner. They have Argan Oil which I have not tried but it's only like $7.99.

I love the Moroccanoil results (makes my coarse hair SOFT) but the smell can be a bit much. I use Josie Maran on my face so I sometimes use a dab on the ends of my dry hair.

I like the Josie Maran a lot. I was using it alone before the Kerastase and had good results, plus I like the way its smells. The Kerastase just kinda kicks it up a notch haha.

I tried this shampoo and conditioner, and I hated it i felt like it dried my hair out and it wasn't as soft. I made my husband finish the bottles,so I didn't have to throw them out. Sad, because I LOVED the scent.

Really? I have really course, thick hair and it does wonders for it. That sucks It's weird how products work for different people. And yes the scent is heavenly.

Morroccanoil is seriously the best, but it's so expensive, and I think the One'N'Only line (I buy mine at Sally when they do a Buy2G1 free promo) is a considerable substitute and only $10 for a good size bottle.
Orofluido is my goto product, the one thing I can't live without. I don't even need to flat iron my hair half the time. It smells wonderful and my hair is so healthy.
I used Morrocan Oil before and it's a good product too but I love Orofluido.

I think it probably depends on your hair texture. I LOVE Moroccan Oil, and find it makes my hair much softer. Josie Moran's argan oil was a disaster in my hair. It felt like it didnt absorb it. I also tried a free John Frieda sample that was not great. I don't think the price of MO is bad relative to the amount I need to use.
