CBFM users: come in! 12 days of High reading... WTF?

OK - am beginning to think it's broken, or I am. I've had 12 days of HIGH reading on the CBFM. Is this normal? It seems excessive, and it's costing me a small fortune in sticks. Any thoughts?

Do you temp? No way to know what's going on if you aren't temping. Are u still getting fertile cm?

I'm temping, but my temps have been all over the place as I went skiing in France recently so time zone was slightly off normal plus I was drinking a little bit and the chalet was quite warm.
I don't have much of a cervix left, so CM is not reliable for me, or usually very abundant.

Is this your first month using it? If so, it could be just getting used to your body. I would call the help line. I had a couple questions this month because it was my first and they were very helpful.

Last cycle I had one day of positive and then 5 or 6 days of almost positives, along with ewcm. It was weird, but my dr didnt think much of it when I brought it up at my appt yesterday.

Oddly I had a follow up appointment last week with my surgeon (I've had a trachelectomy) and asked him about cervical mucus. He said that ten years a lot more faith was put in CM as an indicator, but not now. I was worried about my lack of it and he said not to worry. But he did say that temping was more important.

You mean ten years ago? What changed? Just wondering!

No idea, I was in a hurry to get out of there after a colposcopy so I didn't ask.
