Is anyone here tech savvy when it comes to internet/routers?

I'm savvy but this is perplexing me. 

My internet connection is my last name. The neighbor's is the connection named after their router - which is normal, she just hasn't nicknamed it. (These two are ALWAYS on my connections list of available networks)

Every so often I get a connection that pops up that is named "namehere", it is always coupled with another one called "namehere-guest". This one comes and goes, it's never always on the list. 

When "namehere" pops up, it kicks me offline and when it doesn't, it slows my internet way down. 

Our phones run off of ours, they don't have their own wifi in them. Nothing in our house has it's own wifi, and certainly nothing named that. So it's nothing that is turning on/off. 

I am assuming it's the neighbor's two doors down. But why is it affecting ours?
