current colour is a grey that reads really blue. i want to paint over because it feels like a cave. now i'm trying test squares of Behr Botanical Tint with is listed as a green and looks green everywhere else, but my bedroom. granted it's a minty aqua green, but the blue undertones are so strong in here.
bah. who knew finding a decent paint colour could be so hard.
eta: my real life polyvore! i wanted an aqua wall colour, white trim (and my white mirror), red accents, and an upholstered headboard (similar fabric to this lampshade i have). i think it works. it's bright, but i wanted that.
The only window we have in there is east. But maybe north east, lol? We get strong morning sun and then basically nothing after 10am. That side of the house is really shaded.
And we have full spectrum bulbs so they don't look yellow like soft white bulbs do. I think anything not soft white does seem cooler.
When we moved in our whole apartment was the same yellow colour. In the living room it had really green undertones (think snot yellow-green :-), but in the bedroom it looked peach. I think our house is just weird.
