My bathroom preservation book does say they are great for dogs and babies, if you have the space for one It would be convenient sometimes!

That is what I thought, but I am trying to imagine it mounted to a wall (how high up?) and why does the right side go up higher? Which direction do you sit on it? Your back to the right against the high part? Then wouldn't one of your legs be hitting the faucet?

So many questions.

But honestly it would have been awesome PP bc I was ordered to take 3 crotch-soaking baths a day and getting my whole self in and out was a pain.

I think it sits on the floor. Back against the high part. I'm guessing its wider than it looks.

Also, the phrase "crotch-soaking baths" just made me lol. And wince, sort of all at once.

It sits on the floor according to all the pics in my book. Sort of like an armchair on the floor. I don't think the right side is higher (unless you're talking about the back, which is on the right side of the photo). I think you'd probably fill it before you got in, so the faucet down in the bowl wouldn't be a big deal? Those round below-grade faucets I've seen in the salvage store are really low profile. There's no way you could legally install one like that in CA now. Neighbor's backflow of sitz water coming out of my kitchen faucet=wow, I don't even want to think about that.
