It is supposed to be near 50 and sunny - like a freaking heatwave compared to our weather lately - and I am making grand plans.
Friday I am getting compost and manure to mix into the beds, Saturday cool weather seeds are getting planted. Peas, kale, cabbage, broccoli, beets and more on in the plan.
And, if there is time, I may chop down a small tree. (It is right in the middle of where my garden expansion is going to go.)
I am chomping at the bit to get outside!! Can you tell?
I'm getting into ours too since we'll be in the mid 60's, as opposed to the foot of snow we had last weekend. I need to expand the garden plot all the way to the back fence line then want to put up the trellises for the beans and peas and start prepping the soil. I'm afraid to plant anything since we often get heavy snow, even in late April but I'm so itching to get this going.
