Welcome! Good luck with your surgery.
May I ask what kind of fibroids you have? I have a 6cm one on my left side, within the uterine muscle. My doctor doesn't think it should be an issue. We're on our 11th cycle trying, with no luck yet. I'm always interested in other people's stories who have fibroids, because I worry that mine is causing an issue.

@mnh2013, have you had an MRI done? My doctor wanted to make sure mine was really a fibroid and not adenomyosis, so that's why I had an MRI. It grew a little from the first ultrasound to the second, but hasn't grown since (I last had it checked in December). I also have a cysts that seem to come and go, so I have to go back in June for another ultrasound to check both issues. I will also talk to her then if I'm not pregnant, and I assume she will send me to an RE.
Do you have any pain with yours? I don't notice anything out of the ordinary with mine. Like I said, my doctor didn't seem to think it would be an issue because of its location, but obviously I do wonder if it is a factor, since we've really had decent timing every cycle, and my H checked out fine with his SA.

Oh wow, that sucks. I hope you are able to get some relief soon. Are you worried about coming off BC? The MRI was just to get a better picture of it, since she was not 100% sure it was a fibroid verses something else.
I guess because I don't have an issues with it (aside from possibly conceiving), surgery hasn't been put on the table. I guess I'll have to see what the RE thinks, if it comes to that.
