haha, I am not a nurse, but I wear a watch all the time.
I always assume people can't drive stick (even though I can); and I am surprised when someone has a manual as their daily driver, especially in this area.

That is strange.
I kind of hate myself for doing this, but I have to admit that I tend to assume that really stunningly beautiful women are not that intelligent. It's not even so much that it's anything inherent. I just know that if you're super attractive, you can get by on your looks to some degree and don't necessarily have to use your brain as much.
I'm not proud of this, and I'm happy to be proven wrong, but that's kind of where my mind goes first.

You are stunningly beautiful and very intelligent.

I tend to think this too. And for models and movie stars (sans a few)
When I see men with a woman wearing a full on burqa, I assume the men are not nice. Of course, it doesn't help that 9 times out of 10, the man with the woman is yelling at her and holding up a hand like he will hit her. I know that they aren't all mean, but the ones I've seen here are always so angry. They make me nervous

I drive a manual 350Z as my daily driver.. automatic sports cars should be outlawed ;-)
Spin off of sitnspin: It drives me BSC when fat people bitch about being fat. You can't bitch about it AND not doing anything at the same time. 1 or the other. Not both.

I completely agree! My H has a '94 Firebird, convertible, which is an automatic. Why the eff would you buy that car in an auto?? (Still fun as hell to drive, and I do still steal it.)

I can drive a stick, and my H's daily driver is a stick.
This one is pretty bad but I usually assume Asian people could pass any knowledge-based test with flying colors but would fail a driving test multiple times.

I assume that if you're wearing short shorts, a tube top, high heels, perfect hair and perfect makeup to an 8am class when it's pouring down rain, you're probably a dumb slut.

hahah! And along those lines, I always assumed most girls who join a sorority are rich flakes who can't keep real friends long-term so they have to buy some pretend friends.

Confession: I've never driven a stick. H is going to teach me in his Chevelle since my next car only comes in stick lol
Everybody else is making me feel like less of a person! haha! I've driven at least 3 different stick shift trucks on multiple occasions, but I don't claim I know how to drive them and I avoid it if at all possible.

Me neither and I have no desire to learn.
I was pretty resistant to learn.. but I Was 17, and after I totalled my first truck i didn't have much of a choice since my Dad was giving me one of his trucks. They were both manual so I had to learn.
It's fun most of the time. Sometimes, like in traffic, it really sucks. and i would imagine it would suck living in a hilly area, or where it snows. Thankfully I don't deal w/ either of those elements. My only problem is rain.
I think I lack all the coordination to put it all together. Hands and both feet doing different things all at once.... It could end very ugly. I'm not a good driver and will always be the first to admit it.

My H has a manual. I can sort of drive it. I've driven around the block and from rest stop to rest stop on long car trips. The thought of driving it in regular traffic makes practically makes me have an anxiety attack, though. He learned how to drive on a stick, so he doesn't see the big deal. He doesn't understand what it'd like to have been driving for most of your life and then get in a car and feel like you have no idea how to drive again!
