That's bad ass, not badass. This is TMI, I am fully aware but I need to bitch anyway.
I'm in so much pain from hemmis that it hurts to sit, lay down, walk, stand. This week has been terrible for some reason, digestively, and I just want something, anything to help! My ass was quite frankly ruined by having two kids, and normally I am careful to get enough fiber, drink water, and avoid things that constipate me and I do okay, but I just got all teary with DH on the phone because I HURT, dammit. And there's so little I can do to really make it better, things just need time to heal -- which is so frustrating. It's not like I can just stop pooping for a couple of weeks.
My patience and energy are at bare-minimum because I'm in pain, I am snapping at my kids and my dogs, and I couldn't bear to cook dinner so I found a half-used Chili's GC and ordered out. And I'm dreading getting in the car to drive over there and pick it up because all I want to do is sit very still and possibly take a warm bath.
I'm so dumb, I'm like "where is the badass part? When does her day get better?" lol
I'm sorry litbrite. My situation isn't nearly as bad but I've had some of that since having S and it's very unpleasant. I hope you get some relief soon.
Might not work for you but it helped me. I took Preparation h pads, folded them in half and stuck them up there. and left them. for hours. (oh geez, I didn't stick them up there internally). It really did help. I actually hard worse hemis after my 8.5 son (first child) than my 10lb 4oz daughter.
I folded probably 3 at a time, not just one. One didn't help at all.
Those suppositories suck. UGH, the last time I had them they did nothing. It was horrible. Especially since I was 22 weeks, at my MILs and stuck there for a week due to weather here, with no water there and had to explain to her my problem so she would call the doctor for me so I could beg for help without having them see me. Oh and there was no water there either.

luckydog Yes, please PM me. I went to a doc in Boulder after DD1 was born and to a guy in Denver after DD2 was born and got great relief both times, but I've been doing more or less okay since and I think maybe things have just suddenly gotten to the point where maintenance isn't enough.
And lol at stellas. It took me a long time to get up the nerve to use the suppositories and I still giggle a little at basically putting a cocoa butter bullet up my bum. But they do wonders.
I took a long bath and have regained some of my humor about this. But thanks, all of you!
