Are you getting airbrushed makeup for your wedding? I just saw this morning on the news how it is supposedly so much better for warmer, humid areas. They were specifically talking about Atlanta, but I was thinking that it would probably be the same for Turks and Caicos.
I've always wanted to try the airbrushed makeup machine at Sephora.
Makeup Artist responded and she doesn't do airbrushing There are only like 2 on the island (and the other one is booked) so don't really have another option.
She did mention that she does spray tanning though, but I think I'm going to get it done before I go.
I'm trying to organize all the appointments I need to make prior to leaving though.
Thursday - Hair cut and color Monday - waxing - was thinking of doing a leg and underarm wax for the first time in addition to bikini and eyebrows. Tuesday - Mani/Pedi and Spray Tan Wed - We leave! Sat - Wedding day!!
What am I missing for prep prior to the wedding? Does my order sound ok for all these appointments? Should I get a facial as some point before I go (I haven't had one in years)?
I would definitely get a facial. The oxygen facial at Bliss is fabulous and my skin looks so good for weeks after. Are you getting a Shellac manicure? I'd be afraid to get a regular manicure so far in advance. Miniluxe does Shellac and an OPI version and it lasts for 2 weeks no chips for me.
Can't believe how soon this all is!
ETA: I would not do a spray tan. My friend did one before her wedding and looked really orange and weird.
I've gotten spray tans before and it looked pretty good, I was going to go to the same person to get this one done.
For the facial I would probably go like 2 weeks before the wedding so hopefully any breakouts or redness would have subsided.
I'm definitely getting a shellac mani, that's the only kind I've been getting as I chip them within a day if its the normal one. I was considering a shellac pedicure, but not sure if it's worth it.

I think 10 days to 2 weeks before the wedding is suggested for a facial. I have really sensitive skin and it's never bothered me.
I did the Shellac pedicure once but I am not sure it was worth it. My regular pedicures always look pretty good for quite a while.
I would be careful of doing too many new procedures that you've not tried before. You don't want to have some weird adverse reaction to something days before the wedding.
This! I had my eyebrows waxed two days before my wedding and I had some weird reaction to the wax and it looked terrible. Don't be me!

I am getting my eyebrows expertly tweezed and shaped next week. I am overly excited for something so routine and boring. Hoping there are no reactions since it is just plucking.
