So I've been playing around with Wondfo's OPKs, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. If the test line is dark, but not as dark as the control line, would you consider that positive or negative?
ETA: I originally had this as blue dye. They're actually pink and the wrapper is blue
I'll also add that I've been taking them the past few days and the line is definitely getting darker. I just didn't know when it's dark enough to officially be "positive".
negative. they're a mindfuck, granted, but when the test line is at least as dark or darker than the control line, you'll know. I was wondering too, then I finally got a positive OPK the other day and it was like, "oh so that's what it is supposed to look like!"
taken with my phone camera, so please excuse the quality. this was my positive OPK (took the picture about 6 minutes after I dipped it in pee, 1 minute after the read time). I got a temp rise 2 days later and FF gave me crosshairs for the day after I got this OPK.

Agree with Pooh. The test line will be as dark or darker than the control line when positive. If you are unsure, you can pick up a box of digitals and compare the results. That way you can learn what a positive on the cheapie looks like, and you don't have to spend a ton on digitals every month.
Your post title says blue dye test- my wondfos use pink-? Do you have a different type?
Ditto pooh - I had the same feeling. Like "should I just mark this a positive? what if this is positive and I'm not recognizing it as such?"
You'll know - it gets as dark or darker. It will get easier the more you chart (assuming you're somewhat conssitent) because you'll know when the positive OPK should appear.
