An incredibly rare Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupé was "completely destroyed" when two knot-head mechanics decided to take it for a dangerously high-speed spin. The two (perhaps former) garage workers caused an estimated $830,000 in damages when they rolled the car in an accident outside of Stuttgart, Germany. The posted speed limit of 55 miles per hour "was not observed, obviously" an officer said and, surprisingly, there weren't any fatalities, not when the car crashed or when the garage informed the owner. This 300 SL had been one of only 1,400 such cars in existence. Make that 1,399. [Source]
