So I tried to go to the Bump, but there are too many people asking some crazy and bizarro questions for my taste. Maybe I will get used to it? But in the mean time, I thought I would post here and maybe you will tell me that what I'm going through is totally normal, LOL.

1) What are your symptoms? very bloated, gassy, exhausted and nothing sounds good to eat
2)How are you feeling? Overall pretty good, but I hate that I cannot keep my eyes open past 9:30 pm
3) Have you had your first appointment? My first appointment is Monday, April Fools! Well, I hope not. But we are keeping our fingers crossed we will see a flicker of a heartbeat.
4) How far along are you? EDD? I can only guess at this point, based on my LMP and Google (LOL), but I think I am 5 weeks 3 days, which makes my EDD November 27th.
5) When do you plan on telling people? We had to tell my folks, because we are forced to rearrange a trip. We are going to tell my in-laws today, so that if something happens, I can talk to my MIL about it. She's always been a rock, and I will be grateful to be able to talk to her about things. However, we are asking both sets of parents to wait for a while before telling anyone (we will see if that happens).
6) First pregnancy? I have no children. I had a pregnancy in my mid-20s that ended in a m/c
7) Anything else you care to share? I think about m/c all the time, and I wonder if it's healthy. I'm taking baths every day, and I am not sure I am drinking enough water (but enough OJ to last a lifetime).
1) What are your symptoms? Fatigue beyond belief (probably from cutting out caffeine more than anything), nausea, having to pee every 5 minutes (probably from increasing water intake).
2)How are you feeling? Just tired. Took 2 naps yesterday and was still in bed early, lol.
3) Have you had your first appointment? Not yet - not till the end of April, boo
4) How far along are you? EDD? I think I'm about 5 weeks 1 day. EDD 11/29.
5) When do you plan on telling people? Not till after the first appointment, though we may have to spill the beans to a few people before. Won't tell work till at least 12-13 weeks if I can hide it that long.
6) First pregnancy? Third pregnancy, hopefully 2nd kid. Had a m/c before DD.
7) Anything else you care to share? I can't wait to tell DD about the pregnancy - she'll be thrilled to be a big sister!

1) What are your symptoms? I'm nauseous all day long.
2)How are you feeling? Like crap. I need to call for Zofran on Monday because I have to force myself to eat the small amount I can because I'm so nauseous.
3) Have you had your first appointment? Yes it was a week ago.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 9w4d EDD is 10/29
5) When do you plan on telling people? We've told a couple people, but big announcements won't be until after our a/s at 18 weeks.
6) First pregnancy? 4th pregnancy (2 miscarriages before DD)
7) Anything else you care to share? I'm ready for 2nd tri!

1) What are your symptoms? Sore boobs. Smells really get to me (everything smells like blue cheese. wth!). But I haven't been terribly nauseous. Soon after the BFP I was bloated & slightly crampy.I have been pretty tired also, taking a nap every evening after work and going to bed early. Luckily I'm fine at work all day. My sister said she couldn't keep her eyes open right after lunch every single day at work.
2)How are you feeling? good, but nervous about a m/c
3) Have you had your first appointment? not yet, they scheduled it for when I'm 8 weeks so my appt is April 10
4) How far along are you? EDD? according to a random internet due date predictor, I am 6 weeks and 1 day. Due Nov. 24
5) When do you plan on telling people? 12 weeks or later
6) First pregnancy? yes
7) Anything else you care to share? I've had very mild cramps off and on, but no spotting, so I'm worried about a miscarriage. Hopefully it is just gas. I know I'm going to be a nervous nelly throughout the whole pregnancy. I'm anxious for the first appt and hope everything looks ok then. Maybe that will set my mind at ease.

Forgot to mention a couple of things- All I want to drink is orange juice and all I want to eat is carbs (bread and cereal). How much additional water are we supposed to drink? Now I'm worried I'm not getting enough.

Congrats to everyone in this post!!
I am also drinking a ton of orange juice. I never really drank orange juice until my BFP.
Boobs are killing me, headaches, pain in hips, pulling sensation in pelvis, and now, nausea
2)How are you feeling?
Overall, okay. I tend to feel more M/S at night. Some days are better than others.
3) Have you had your first appointment?
No, I will call on Monday to make an appointment for the week after, hopefully. It's very difficult to be seen before 8 weeks here in HK.
4) How far along are you? EDD?
6w6d. EDD is November 17.
5) When do you plan on telling people?
We plan on telling our parents after the first appointment, provided eveything goes well. Siblings. Other than that, we're asking that they not spread the news until 2nd tri, hopefully. I don't want to tell work before that unless I have to.

Looks like I'll have several companions on this journey. I'm excited for every single one of us!
I'm very curious to know what Peruvian prenatal care is going to be like. I don't know if I will get an ultrasound tomorrow or just blood work or pee in a cup or what. It's a big, scary mystery!
1) What are your symptoms? Currently, fatigue, sensitivity to smells, frequent urination, sore breasts and backache.
2)How are you feeling? I am sick right now and can't take any good meds, so I am feeling blah.
3) Have you had your first appointment? Yes. I peed in a cup and had a vaginal ultrasound where we saw the baby and his/her heartbeat. I had to go to a lab for blood work. I then had a 2nd appointment for my Pap and breast exam and blood work results. I will have my NT in a couple of weeks.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 10 weeks 5 days. EDD October 22.
5) When do you plan on telling people? We've told our parents, a couple of close friends, and H's siblings. We will tell everyone after 12 weeks.
6) First pregnancy? Yes.
7) Anything else you care to share? I am already wearing maternity clothes and I love them!
“Life is not orderly. No matter how we try to make it so, right in the middle of it lose a leg, fall in love, drop a jar of applesauce.” - Natalie Goldberg
1) What are your symptoms? Fatigue! That's the big one right now. I have a little nausea on and off, but it hasn't been too bad.
2)How are you feeling? Excited, panicked, excited. This pregnancy was not planned. MH and I are 36 and I have PCOS. We thought it would take medical intervention, but surprise! We found out the week after MH came home from major surgery for ulcerative colitis/colon cancer. He's gotten a clean bill of health, so we feel like this will unexpectedly be one of the best years of our lives.
3) Have you had your first appointment? I've had my first OB appt and my first US. It was amazing to see the little heartbeat!
4) How far along are you? EDD? 8w1d, EDD 11/9/13
5) When do you plan on telling people? We told immediate family already and will tell extended family/friends/work after 1st trimester.
6) First pregnancy? Yes.
7) Anything else you care to share? Congrats to everyone here! I can't seem to stop using exclamation marks!
Lurker here! I'm excited to be joining this board, I usually lurk on MM.
1) What are your symptoms? My boobs are very sore, don't feel like eating very much. I've had a little bit of morning sickness but not a lot so far (whew!). I'm already a little moody... : )
2)How are you feeling? Okay for the most part.
3) Have you had your first appointment? Nope, my first appointment is in 2 weeks. Here they schedule your first appointment between weeks 8-10 and with the way my schedule and the midwife's schedule worked out I have to wait until I'm 10 weeks.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 8 weeks and three days, EDD Nov. 5-10 (due to above).
5) When do you plan on telling people? We've told family and close friends, will tell everyone else at the end of the first trimester. Possibly a little earlier (around 10 weeks) due to my work situation, but I'm okay with that.
6) First pregnancy? Yes!
7) Anything else you care to share? It's been an interesting 4 weeks since I found out - I actually got really sick and decided to test a day before my period was due because I wanted to take lots of cold meds and go to bed. But I got a BFP, so I went in to my regular doctor where they confirmed I was pg as well as having strep throat. On antibiotics for that for 10 days, then I got a really bad cough and pulled a muscle in my side. The cough kept getting worse, I didn't want to take lots of meds since I'm pg, so I ended up dislocating the intercostal muscle from my rib from coughing so hard. That landed me in the ER at 7 weeks. All is well now, but I'm still in some pain due to the dislocated muscle, but the good thing that's come out of this is that my morning sickness is less since I literally cannot throw up right now! Happy and healthy 9 months to everyone!!
1) What are your symptoms? Sore boobs. And I'm not sure if it's the pregnancy or all the Easter food, but I've been so bloated today!
2)How are you feeling? Excited, nervous, still a little shocked that I'm really pregnant
3) Have you had your first appointment? I needed a referral to an OB, so went to my PCP's office only to confirm the pregnancy. I won't see the OB for another month or so.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 4w4d - Due December 4th
5) When do you plan on telling people? I told my BFF the day after I found out, and DH told his best friend this weekend, so both of them and their spouses know. We live far away from our families, so it will be nice to have some local support in case anything happens. We would like to wait until after the first appointment to tell our families, but we have trip home scheduled in a couple weeks, and I doubt we will be able to hide it while we're there. Plus, it will be nice to be able to tell immediate family in person. This is the first grandchild for both sides, so I know everyone will freak. We'll tell the rest of our close friends and family after the first appointment, and everyone else after 1st tri.
6) First pregnancy? Yes
7) Anything else you care to share? Congrats to all of you! Hope the rest of your pregnancies are happy and healthy!
1) What are your symptoms? So. Very. Tired! Also a constant runny/stuffy nose. Some bloating and food aversions, but thankful for no nausea
2) How are you feeling? Absolutely terrified of another m/c. I just wish I could have an u/s everyday to know everything is OK in there...
3) Have you had your first appointment? Yes, first u/s was 6w4d where we saw a heartbeat! Plus they did blood work, pap and breast exam. Next u/s is Friday and NT scan is next week.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 9w6d, due October 28th
5) When do you plan on telling people? A handful of our closest bffs know, but we're holding off on announcing until after the NT scan.
6) First pregnancy? No, missed miscarriage at 12 weeks in August
7) Anything else you care to share? Congrats to everyone! I hope to hang out with you all for 7 more months!

1) What are your symptoms? Nauseated, super tired, short of breath when I exercise. Extreme food aversions to pasta, bread, and sweets (especially chocolate and peanut butter). All I want to eat is meat (red meat in particular), cottage cheese, and roasted veggies. I know, crazy right?!
Also my complexion has gotten really clear and I'm freezing cold all the time, which is the the opposite of my first pregnancy. Thought something was wrong a first, but maybe I'm just having a boy this time around
2)How are you feeling? Really excited and extremely nervous. Thought I was going to need to see an RE again to get pregnant. Had some bleeding early on and was put on progesterone.
3) Have you had your first appointment? Yes, twice for the bleeding, and another follow-up where we saw the heatbeat.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 7w2d, Nov 16th (but will probaly be having my c-section a week earlier though)
5) When do you plan on telling people? We told our parents and few close friends. Waiting to tell work and everyone else until at least 10-12 weeks.
1) What are your symptoms? I'm pretty exhausted and sleeping a lot, but I feel pretty good most of the time. I do have little moments of mild nausea, but nothing terrible. I'm much slower at running. Oh, and I have to pee two or three times per night these days.
2)How are you feeling? Overall, I feel good. I'm excited and nervous!
3) Have you had your first appointment? I had some spotting early on and ended up at the ER (it was rather pointless to be there, my primary care doctor couldn't see me and sent me there). Since then, I have been to an obgyn, but it was for an early ultrasound (saw a heartbeat!) and blood work. My first "regular" prenatal appointment with my obgyn is Thursday. I'm nervous about it and I wish we could have gone last week, but my preferred doctor (who I haven't even met yet!) was on vacation. I hope she was worth the wait!
4) How far along are you? EDD? 12 weeks, due 10/14.
5) When do you plan on telling people? We told our parents and immediate family about a week ago. I hope to tell the world (and work) after this week's appointment if all goes well.
1) What are your symptoms? I feel like I have PMS. Gas, sore boobs, lower back aches, weepy, light nausea... The usual.
2)How are you feeling? Nervous. Very nervous.
3) Have you had your first appointment? April 12
4) How far along are you? EDD? About 5 weeks. We are twinsies!
5) When do you plan on telling people? I would like to wait until after we have done all the testing and know that this is a viable pregnancy for us. So, whenever that happens, I guess.
6) First pregnancy? Yes
7) Anything else you care to share? I still can't believe it.
Jalapeñomel - I looked at the Bump too and just couldn't do it. Hopefully this board will be a better fit for me.
1) What are your symptoms? Sore boobs, bloated, exhausted - especially in the afternoons. Have felt a little queasy at times, but nothing too bad (at least yet).
2)How are you feeling? Sad and angry - though not as badly as when I first found out. We're getting married in 5 weeks and this was not a planned pregnancy.
3) Have you had your first appointment? Nope, not until May 9th. A little later than I'd like, but we had to work around the Dr's schedule and the wedding and HM.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 5 weeks, 1 day. EDD is December 1st.
5) When do you plan on telling people? We told both sets of parents last night - it was getting too hard to keep it from them with all the planning that's happening. Two of my friends also know as I had to freak out at someone when I found out. We won't tell others until after the first trimester.
6) First pregnancy? Yup
7) Anything else you care to share? Even though I'm not ready for a kid right now, I'm also freaked out about a miscarriage and that my body might not work properly. It's a weird internal conflict.
1) What are your symptoms? Constant nausea, absolutely no desire to eat, nothing sounds good so I don't think I'm eating a very balanced diet these days. Luckily, I have not thrown up yet and hope I can avoid that entirely. Occasional fatigue and very sensitive boobs (for which I will have to buy new bras very soon since mine are starting to get quite snug). Definitely bloated a lot of the time.
2) How are you feeling? Happy yet anxious to get through the 1st tri and find out that everything will be just fine.
3) Have you had your first appointment? Yes. Looking forward to my next appointment in 2 weeks.
4) How far along are you? EDD? 10w 1d. EDD Oct. 27
5) When do you plan on telling people? We've told our parents and siblings. We are waiting for our 12 week appointment before telling the rest of the world.
6) First pregnancy? Yes
7) Anything else you care to share? I'm very bad at posting on a regular basis because I'm too lazy to sign in most of the time but I'll try to do better.
