So I have a half marathon (my first) next weekend and for my long run yesterday I was hoping to do maybe ten miles. Around mile 8 I felt good so I decided to keep going and I ran a full half yesterday in 2:01. :-) I'm hoping that the adrenaline for the race will let me finish in 2 or under. :-) I'm actually feeling good today too- my hips are a little sore but I'm feeling good otherwise. Going to do two nice easy runs next week and rest up for the actual half. :-) Its hard to believe that less than eight months ago I couldn't even run a mile.
