Friday - Got out of work a bit early. Had a night at home with sushi and wine!
Saturday - Ran a bunch of errands - Target, Staples, AC Moore and ventured to the Woburn MB which was a shit show. Then Saturday night I met DH in the city and we had cocktails at Gaslight before going to Myers and Chang for dinner which was delicious!
Sunday - Went to the gym then just did stuff around the house as DH was working. Also, worked on wedding projects.
That house is crazy! I totally think you should buy it and open your own fitness studio. With the rates of gyms (per the MM thread) you might be able to afford it.
Weekend was nice. We went to Natick for the morning on Saturday. Had lunch at the Nordstrom Cafe, J bought some suits I bought some vacation dresses, shoes, and clothes, and we looked at some furniture and home stuff. Saturday night we went to the outdoor Dairy Queen. It was warm enough to eat ice cream on a bench!
Yesterday was church with J's mom and then grilling out steak, asparagus, and mushrooms. She is here for literally a day and a half and goes home tonight. She had been in NY visiting her sister.
BTW, J's mom doesn't call Easter by that name. She calls it Resurrection Day. She's crazy. Thankfully she doesn't push her crazy at all.
I spent much of my weekend recooperating. We had friends up Saturday and went to dinner at my favorite place in concord. Sunday I took a Pilates class and we walked the bike path with our pup for hours. It was very relaxing.
I spent Sunday night revamping my cover letter and applying for some jobs. Friday was the worst day of work I have ever had and it lit a fire under my ass to get the F out of here.
Weekend was good, but busy! My boss had a party at his house on Sat. It was actually really fun! I really like my coworkers, I just wish this job wasn't so stressful. Sigh, I'm still evaluating this move and it is a mixed bag.
Sunday we slept in, hit the BSC in Woburn to check it out. It wasn't very busy, which was nice! I can't wait to start taking classes. I need to check out Lexington too, turns out that might be closer. Then we came home and cleaned up and had the in laws over for dinner. It was a little painful for me, but my H was happy so that is good. He made an awesome dinner too (bulgogi) so that makes up for it.
And back to work. My boss is away this week and I have no idea what I'm doing. Sigh.
PS. I'm so excited to have you guys over next Sat!

I was there on Sunday too!! I was there from like 8:30-9:30, when were you there?

We went in the afternoon, I think 1:30 to 2:30 PM. We are so *not* morning people, especially on the weekends! I am hoping to try out the Sunday Zumba class though, so maybe we can meet up for that some time!

Does he have a good bulgogi recipe to share???
I'm totally excited for the GTG too. I would not be opposed to having bulgogi for lunch, hahaha!
I'll have to watch next time he makes it! He buys the thinly sliced beef at HMART and marinates it in like soy sauce, sugar, and some other stuff. I'll try to write it down next time he does it! He also pan fries it in a wok. It is delicious, but not the same as the BBQ version. Much easier to make though!
Ours was good! Friday we stayed in and watched a movie. Saturday DH was out with some friends for the whole day so I was very productive with painting the trim in our house. Sunday morning I exercised while DH set up some side job stuff in the garage and we spent a very nice Easter/birthday dinner at my in-laws. We went to my parents in the evening and visited with them for awhile. Best part was noticing my bulbs were coming up! Tulips, crocus, daffodils, and iris! I need to get out there this week to clean up some of the beds. Most of them still have snow so it was a nice surprise
We went out to Western MA to my parents for the Easter weekend. I haven't been home in awhile so it was a nice trip. My mom ended up making Easter lunch on Saturday because family members had other plans on Sunday. I ate too much as usual It was also nice to get laundry done that didn't involve going to the laundromat (seriously guys, this bathroom renvo is the neverending story). Then on Sunday we played Aggravation which neither I nor H have played. Once we caught on it was so much fun. I def think we need to get this game and add it to our dinner party game collection!
We went to CT to visit my in-laws for the weekend (for Easter). We were going to go on Friday, but we spent the day lounging in front of the tv and doing laundry and decided to go on Saturday instead. We visited our favorite neighborhood bar on Thursday night so H was hungover.
Saturday morning H woke me up at 6:30 am to make the trek to CT. We arrived by like 8:30, had breakfast, and then I helped MIL make easter bread and dyed easter eggs. Then we decided to go for a run and my FIL picked the location. I ended up doing a 4 mile run with mad uphills that was horrible - but I felt good afterwards.
Then the next day a bunch of my H's aunts & uncles and his grandfather came for Easter dinner. It was nice to see them.
