DH's man cold seemed to resolve itself right before my c-section. We went in at 7 on Friday morning and Milo was born at 10:09. Aside from lots of vomiting, there were no complications and the surgery was a breeze.
this kid is amazing. DS1 came out screaming and didn't stop for a year and a half. This baby fusses, barely, eats well, and sleeps like a champ. I realize that things can change, but omg. I think we won the baby lottery. I'll try to pip...
I usually upload a pic from my camera roll on tinypic.com then copy the link into the post. You should be able to hit add attachment in the right corner and do it that way too.
Yay! Congratulations! The c-section made you sick?
It was so weird. With DS1, I vomited and shivered for the duration of my induction (failed) and for a few hours after that c-section.
this time, I vomited once during the check-in, which we attributed to nerves. Then vomited several times on the operating table, which the anesthesiologist attributed to the spinal having lowered my blood pressure so rapidly. And then, for several hours later (until I'd received a couple doses of Zofran and something else a little more powerful). We think this was due to the Pitocin.
Who knows? But my chest cavity is soooo sore. The rest of me is great!
Thanks everyone! dS1 just came home from a weekend at my parents' house, and we've had a rough couple hours. Argh! But everyone is napping now, and is have high hopes for a better evening.
