Our place is small, there's no garage, and little storage. Our landlord is a drug seeking alcoholic who annoys the crap out of me because he shows up at our house unannounced and acts like we are best friends. You're my landlord. I do not want to have a social relationship with you. Plus we're kind of tired of finding man eating spiders in our house because there isn't a single door or window in the house that seals properly. We found a bigger place that is in much better shape for the same price of what we're paying now which is awesome.
On a side note this has been bugging me: I turned the 30 days notice in last week. When I did this the landlord acted all offended as we should have been discussing this with him prior to this. According to my copy of the rental agreement I'm not required to do anything except provide a written 30 day notice which I did. Today he stopped by unannounced which really irritated me because it was 9:30 in the morning and I was not dressed to have people stopping by. He wanted to talk to DH. When I told him he was at work he acted like I was lying to him and DH was just hiding from him or something. He then insisted that DH works nights (he did when we first moved in but has since switched to days) but even if he did work nights I wouldn't have woken him up after 2 hours of sleep to talk to the landlord anyway (he takes sleeping meds and would not be able to go back to sleep if I did). So, our landlord then acted like I needed to notify him when either of our schedules change. I'm not your freaking child and you don't need to know where I am 24/7. In fact, that's creepy. Anyway, he told me I couldn't help him with the reason he was here so he said he'd come back later. I'm just thoroughly annoyed with this guy. Is he for real? Is this normal for landlords and I've just been lucky enough to have ones that left me alone in the past?

His behavior is very odd and creepy. In my state, he is breaking state law by showing up at your door with out 24 hours notice. I'd tell him he needs to call first. I'd also tell him he may want to adjust his behavior and attitude in the future if he wants to keep tenants.
