A little background: I've been temping for the past two months after coming off of BCPs at the start of the year. I've noticed a pattern of sorts which is good news to me.
Anyway, I've read parts of TCOYF and saw that it sort of covers time changes etc, but I'm wondering what to do with a 10.5 hour time change after a 15 hour non-stop flight? Do I go back to temping at my usual time in the morning regardless of where in the world I am? I think that seems like the most logical thing to do, but I want to make sure I'm not missing something.
I think you'd have to, and just know you'll have a few days when you get there and when you get back that your temps may be funny. In theory the best thing to do would be to gradually change your temping time until you match the time in the new location. Buuuut then you'd have to have 3 hours of sleep in what would be the middle of your day. Now that sounds lovely, but probably not too practical.
Haha, there are days where I would welcome a 3 hour nap in the middle of the day, but you're right, that's not too practical. I'll just do the cut over and note that the wonky temps are because of the travel/time change.
raangoli I had the same question-ish so thanks for asking. I'm not traveling as far as you but enough to make sleeping pretty off. I'm also travelling in the middle of my fertile window so I have no idea how to figure out when I O'd... This will be awesome!(not)
That sounds like it will be annoying, anna! Thankfully I won't be in the middle of my projected fertile window (at least I don't think so, I should double check...)
