Ours would have been just barely above 25k, including the wedding rings, Rehearsal Dinner, and our Maui honeymoon. We got a lot of help from my ILs with the RD and the wedding, and H's grandma gave us a generous $ gift that went toward the honeymoon.
eta: the price total is including the hotel rooms I booked for myself and my BMs for the night before, the room H and I stayed in the night of, and the shuttle we reserved to get our guests from the hotel the OOT guests were staying at (and those who didn't want to drink & drive) to our venue and back.
We spent a good amount on the honeymoon, I didn't track that exactly but it was probably over $5K. The wedding & reception, picnic the day after, welcome pizza party for the families, rehearsal lunch, spa day for the women in the family was about $17K.
Including honeymoon and rings... the second category. Just barely. Otherwise, it would have been <$10k. It was a pretty nice wedding, but not very formal, and we had a lot of "hook-ups." The wedding and reception were at the Browns Point Improvement Club, which would have been around $2000 (not bad), but since my aunt lives there, we got use of it for $400ish. My dad's a chef and does some catering on the side, and he insisted on arranging our food. Who knows the actual cost, but it wasn't inflated like it would have been if we had used a traditional catering company. Finally, H's uncles run a farm in Puyallup and grow and arrange beautiful flowers; they had me pick out the flowers I'd want the spring before the wedding, planted them, and did all the arrangements for us.
We did an iTunes playlist and had a music pro friend "DJ," we had our cake done by Kelli's Cake Creations when she was still charging, like, $1.50/serving with free delivery, and we used a photographer with a solid portfolio who was still building his business. My dress was J. Crew, bought off eBay for $87 (I had about $100 in alterations done to make it just right).
Can't think of other details, but yeah, it was very inexpensive. We're lucky to have talented family and friends offer their help.
I put 10-25, but I think it was probably hovering at the $10 mark. My mom gave me $900 for my dress and my sister & then bil paid for the other half. Most of the cost of our HM was a gift from his parents.
ETA: ours wasn't very formal and was very much a DIY - teaparty reception with almost no real catering (we hired servers to refill the buffet, had TJs pastry bites, we pre-made scones, ordered tea sandwiches from metro market, only champagne for toasting). All told, we probably spent about $6000 including everything but HM and my dress. HM is the only reason I bumped into the next category as I don't remember exactly and I don't know if you're including cost of food we purchased there, etc.
We're trying to keep everything at $10k but it will be closer to $12k when its all said and done. Since FI and I won't have any vacation time to use I'm budgeting in what we'll need to cover our bills while we "play" for a week or so.
We were under $10k (not by much), but we only had 20 guests. We had a daytime wedding where our venue was open to the public during the hours we got married, which saved us a ton. Our venue only charged us $500 vs. $5000 for full facility rental. We didn't have a photographer, dancing or a wedding party. We also didn't take our honemoon right after our wedding so I didn't count that.
We had a pretty awesome wedding, and even though it was small (~50 people) we definitely spent a lot per person. Everything about it was totally worth it.
