A warm, soft flour tortilla wrapped around seasoned beef, hearty beans, diced onions, real cheddar cheese, and tangy red sauce.
You can also upgrade this item with marinated and grilled all-white-meat chicken or marinated premium thick cut steak.
I think the "Feb. 27, 1973: Help Fight Litter: Use Our Bag. I laughed out loud when I saw that. Everyone in the Chronicle photo room stared at me. I can't for the life of me figure out in 2013 how using a bag is pro-environment. Now you carry your s--- with your hands or pay 10 cents"
Means that rather than throwing litter out of your car window, use this bag to put trash in until you can get to a trash can.
Sort of like the Wendy's bag that is in my car right now that has the Wendy's trash, some tissues, and a banana peal that I will bring into the house and throw away tonight.

They lost the three olives, huh?
It has clearly been eons since I was last in a Taco Bell. I've never heard of an enchirido. Everything I know about what they sell right now is based on the signs in the window of the one I pass on my way to work.
The picture of the birthday party reminded me of my own McDonald's birthday party. I believe it was my sixth birthday. It was in the Caboose at our local McDonald's. Ronald McDonald and Grimace were there (i.e., employees dressed in scary costumes)! We had McDonald's plastic bibs and captain's hats!
Was this a "thing" everywhere? Wonder when they stopped doing that?

And as a side note, I cannot imagine thinking a McDonald's birthday party for young kids is a good idea, yet it was totally standard then (late '80s).
I had one, but I was like 3, which seems worse, so all I remember is that my dad had a camera with the flashbulbs you would have to attach the camera that you could only use once. There were like 8 in a packet? For lack of a better comparison, it was like a gun magazine of flash bulbs.

Oh, and we had chocolate cake.
LOL. What's funny is that birthday is the one at which I received my first real camera, and it totally used that type of flash:

To my knowledge you can still rent the Ronald McDonald Room in the basement of the McD's in my hometown for a party. I had one birthday there. When I worked there 01-02 we did parties with a clown, cake, and happy meals.

I had that camera too! It used 110 film
I never had a flash bulb, though. I never even knew what a flash bulb was. I didn't know what that little tab on top of the camera was for.
