Who still uses special detergent for LO's clothes?

I do and I probably should quit. I love having that baby smell on his clothes. I won't get that too much longer and I want to enjoy it. I use Purex baby.

I will confess that I never really used special detergent. I had the tide free and clear and I still have some. If I remember to use it I do... lol.

I use all free and clear for all of us - I have since Linz was a baby. I have been thinking about switching to something with a pretty scent though, because I wanna.

I have a thing about detergent having to smell good. I don't think I would like the free and clear stuff.

I know I buy it for the name but........I love Dreft. Both kids use it. I don't see it as expensive since I get it at BJ's and it is cheaper than my Shaklee laundry detergent.

We got a lot at our showers. We still have 2.5 jugs left, so we're going strong. Plus, I love the baby smell.

I still use Purex baby for her stuff. I will probably continue for awhile it's fairly cheap and I like the smell.

I buy whatever free and clear is on sale usually. We used dreft for a while but it costs twice as much if I am remembering correctly

This, but when Ella was first born. I never went back to using regular detergent.

I switched to Charlie's Soap when I started cloth diapering, and now I use it for everything. I love it!

I switched the whole family to free and clear so I could wash everyone together. But I also add Downy fabric softener, so that probably negates the free and clear aspect. I loved the smell of Dreft! But unless I was going to start washing everyone in Dreft, this was just easier.

We still new All free an clear. Her skin is super sensitive to detergents. We wash everything in it.

We use all free and clear as well. I'm not sure why since I use Tide on her diapers and this are on her booty all day.

I never changed from All free and clear. My sister gave me a bunch of clothes for Pilar that she washed in Dreft and I had to wash them two or three times. I can't stand the smell and it would sometimes cause my asthma to get bad.

I've started washing everything with the recipe from ecofriendlyfamily.com. It seems to be working fine so far.

I still am, but in still using the first jug we bought before he was born. Clearly I do laundry often.

I use All free & clear for all our stuff. We used it for me before we had kids, because all of the ones with scent make me itchy.

However, I would like to start making my own detergent to save some money.

We use free and clear due to his awful eczema. I don't get the dreft love though. It smells awesome but Purex baby is the same and like 75% cheaper and Dreft/Purex baby are no different then say... Arm and Hammer regular detergent. It's a marketing scheme that it is somehow better because it's "for" babies but it's not any less harsh, really. I admit the smell sold me on the Purex baby but I don't get the notion that it's any better for LO's skin because... It's not.
