I posted a few weeks back that I was going to redecorate my guest bedroom quickly before my parents came to town. For a quick weekend project, I absolutely love it. It's not done all the way, but for now. If you recall I had a red dresser that I wasn't sure what to do with it. I think it is growing on me to leave it red since I have red accents in the room. I still need to build the headboard and possibly night stands. The ones in the pic are stools I found at Goodwill for $6 each and I put a piece of glass on top. I actually really like them as well. So I'll probably just focus on the headboard and art for the walls.
you have the bedding from west elm that i've wanted from when it first came out (likely isn't even available right now.....has been a while since i shopped for bedding). so, i LOVE that, of course. i like that you have it paired with grey and think that the red works b/c of the accent pillows (might need to figure out how to mute it down a smidge, but i would just leave it, if it were me).
That's really pretty. It's totally my style. I love how you made it all blend together. I love the red and glad to see someone else not afraid to use some color. Good job!
Yeah, it took a lot of talking to get DH to help me raise the curtain rods. He just didn't get it, but luckily I was using panels that I had in our condo and they were 96" which would have been ridiculous not hung at the ceiling. Once it was done he was so surprised at how much that changes the style.
Thanks everyone. Yes it is the same carpet. I agree how color can change things so much.
The curtains are from BBB and yes, bedding is from West Elm. I think I got it on sale. It was my splurge as I haven't bought a bedding set since I moved to my first apartment in college.
