Oh and don't paint...use purple or colored wood stain. It's way easier to get a fun color for our chairs like that and we just have to touch-up every 3 years. I love ours (ours are blue stain).
I let DH talk me out of purple and I settled on an orange. It looks good with the color of the house but I regret not going purple. When it needs to be repainted it will be purple!
I will PIP tomorrow if I can remember to get a picture before the sun goes down.
Also staining it never crossed my mind. I will have to remember that for our next outdoor project.
What color/product orange is that, I have a couple of chairs that need attention.
It is a Valspar Signature, Waverly Home Classics. The color is Faded Clay. It is almost the exact same color as a terracotta pot. We had it mixed in Valspars Duramax paint. I really like the duramax. It has held up extremely well here on other painting projects we have done with it.
