I just spent an hour in Barnes & Noble comparing the new (10th) edition of BB with my copy of the previous (9th) edition and was surprised at how little has changed between the two books. Most of the writing is exactly word for word, and nearly all of the recommendations within product categories are the same. The ones that stuck out as different were cribs and infant car seats, but even those had some of the same previous recommendations. I was prepared to take notes and ended up not jotting down a single thing, since so much was the same. So, if you are considering getting a copy of the new book, it may not be worth it, seeing as how most of it is recycled from edition to edition.

I'm glad to hear this...I'm incredibly bitter that the one "cart before the horse" item we let ourselves buy was Baby Bargains and we didn't even get to use it before a new edition came out.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

If someone is bored, do you want to look at Baby Bargains and tell me what high chair they recommend? We loaned ours out to expectant friends when Little HB was ~3mo old and haven't seen it since...
