How many comforter/duvets sets do you have per bed. We have a bunch of handmade quilts plus several comforters. I'm thinking I want to sell a few of the comforters I don't use but DH wants them as back ups. What do you think? I have one comforter with leaves for our guest bed that we don't use and Two comforters for our daybed we don't use. It's okay to sell/donate these right?? We have probably 4 comforters for our bed plus a coverlet but we like to rotate. So I'm keeping all those.
My guest bed as 2. One for the spring/summer and one for the fall/winter. I have four for our bed. I have bedding ADD apparently and like to mix and match so I do use them all. E. student's bed as one set. I buy the cheapest, most acceptable looking one I can when we change students and basically toss the old set. They rarely wash their sheets (if ever) and I can't get the college boy smell out of them no matter how much Clorox or sun by that point.
One comforter/duvet and one quilt for our bed (summer and winter).
When we had a guest bedroom I had a handmade quilt my mom made and then a duvet folded at the bottom. I kept both of those and just put them in a space bag and then in a plastic tote in the garage.
We just have one set of bedding for each bed. And for a long time we only had one sheet set. I'm not good at folding sheets, so I try not to keep many around!
I just purged the last of my bedding since I'm redoing our bedroom and none of our current bedding works. I have to buy or make something new, but In the end I want two sets of sheets and one comforter/quilt/top blanket thing.
We have little storage for bedding, so we keep it simple. The kids have 3 sets of sheets and a blanket. We have two sets of sheets, one blanket, and one comforter. For the sofa bed we have one set of sheets, one blanket and one comforter.
Really just one set of bedding per bed (2-4 sets of sheets per bed). I do have an extra comforter set I'm trying to unload on CL at the moment, but that's not intentional. I also have a few handmade quilts, but we dont' use those for sleeping since I want to preserve them. They are just displayed on a quilt rack.

We have 1 comforter, 1 quilt and 1 duvet cover for our MB. For the guest room we have a quilt. I put out an extra blanket for guests in the winter. DS (21 months old) is still in his crib, he has 2-3 blankets in with him at a time. He likes to ball them up and sleep on them.
For the MB I currently have two quilts (light one for warm weather and a heavier one for cold weather) and I'm thinking about adding a third, possibly a comforter. I like to change them up seasonally.
For the guest room I just have one quilt right now. I may add a second one later but right now it's not on my radar.
