Eeeeeep.
I'm a substitute teacher and the job market is super competitive here. I got a call from the school board that I have an interview on Friday. It's a full time position that goes from now until the end of the school year (I'd be paid on the salary grid which is significantly higher than the decent money I make as a sub! And it is guaranteed work until the end of June!)
Now, technically, I don't have one of the qualifications that is "desired" for the position even though I am qualified with the basic requirements to teach it. I also don't have any experience in teaching the subject. BUT I keep telling myself that even if I don't get it, it will be good experience to interview.
I'm so nervous!!! Please send me good vibes on Friday morning! I'm trying to "study" for my interview but I get so nervous in interviews.
I'm a high school teacher and the interview is for "student success" so it is basically credit recovery and learning resource for students deemed to be "at risk". Challenging, but very rewarding, work.
