Same as Susie, I'm redoing the whole house in SW Alabaster. Looks great.
This is what I used also. I like the color and the paint itself. Very easy to work with. I thought I read somewhere this color is the same as BM White Dove.
TY! Did any of you notice if alabaster have any gray undertones? We were using BM Glacier White before, which reads very much like White Dove on my monitor. I loved it when it went on, but not as much as the paint aged.
We have BM white dove, but based on your post, I'm guessing it will be a little too creamy and yellow for you. Ditto OPs check out the color chips in person.
It was too creamy for us. We had the hardest time with our trim paint. Good luck, there is a lot of white out there. Just get samples because they look nothing like the chips on the trim in the house.
Looking at paint chips is not enough. We had sample paints on the trims to help me make the choice. We had 4 whites, then narrowed it to 2, and finally had both painted on the trims with different sheens. The sheen makes a difference.
I'm very happy with the white dove. We have lots of trims in the house so I made sure we won't get stark white trims or dirty looking trims.
I LOVE Benjamin Moore's Advance semi gloss paint for trim. So much better than the SW Pro Classic, which I had been using before discovering Advance. Color/shade of white depends on your other colors/floor/furnishings.
