You people are crazy! Swiss is the best! We had a pizza on our dinner menu at work that was fontina and asparagus with white truffle oil. It smelled so horrendous we took it off after only one weekend running it. It smelled like a jockstrap. HORRK
That's sad, I love fontina cheese and asparagus...though I don't know about on a pizza. We wrap asparagus in prosciutto and fontina...yum!

I think it was the combination of warming the Fontina and the truffle oil. Call me crazy but truffle oil makes me sick to my stomach.
I wasn't in labor yet but I lost my MP and had the bloody show. My H went to get me a bagel which was supposed to nourish me for labor. I requested a bacon egg and cheese. He comes back with said bagel except he accidentally ordered SWISS CHEESE because he likes it.
I cried. I'm not even kidding.
OMFG I'd cry too. And probably dramatically throw it. And then stomp on it.
I obviously have immature taste buds and tendencies. I hate swiss.
I used to hate blue cheese, and then one day, I was all "I think I'd like some blue cheese on my hamburger." It was the weirdest thing. I've been a fan ever since, and now I LOVE it. It's a close second to a good, sharp cheddar on my favorites list.

So many types of cheese mentioned here that I've never heard of. I personally enjoy melted cheese on my ruben. Plain swiss on the cheese tray is always the last to go. And I hate when I grab swiss thinking it's mozzarella off the cheese tray only to be gravely disappointed. But I can't eat the jack stuff, so I'll suffer with swiss if I'm hungry.
Diary of a wimpy kid! The cheese that everyone is scared to touch. Yeah, it is swiss cheese!!! It is gross! Swiss cheese is probably the Only cheese I dislike.
Have you tried the wide array of stinky euro cheese at WF? I think dairy may yet surprise you.
You swiss haters make me sad. My FFTC is that I bought a package of sliced swiss to put on sandwiches. I wanted a slice, so I grabbed one and ate it. Then I ate the rest of the package. It was delicious! I love stinky cheeses though. Bleu, brie, feta, all goat cheese. YUM YUM YUM!! Working at the Melting Pot was a cheesy dream. Now, I am desperate for some delicious cheese, and we have none....because I already ate it all.
