I'm headed off to an in-person job interview today. Well, technically the interview is tomorrow. I fly out today, have the interview tomorrow and fly back on Friday. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, because I had 3 of these last year and still didn't get a job and this year this is the only one I've been called for, although there might be the possibility of another one.
This would be a nice place to work, from what I've seen. It's a small college, which is what I want (although they likely don't pay a lot and DH might have a hard time finding a job). It's also 2 hours from DH's family, which would be nice...I think.
I'm also a little nervous about how DH and DS are going to do. DD"s okay with it, but DH has only had sole nighttime responsibility for DS 4 nights. His sleeping is getting better, but I know more tricks than DH does. I'm just afraid these 2 days, DS isn't going to sleep well and I'll have to do a lot of repair work when I get back.
Mostly I'm just nervous I won't get a job again this year.
Good luck! My husband is a professor and I know how hard and stressful it is to get a position. He had to take a couple 1 year contracts at different universities before he was offered a tenure track position.
Thanks everyone! So far I'm stuck in Minneapolis. I've already missed my connection because of weather and had to be rerouted. The new airport is closer to my final destination than the old one, but I'm getting in 3 hours later than I originally intended. I'm also glad they're reimbursing me because the rental car is now going to cost twice as much as it was originally.
And wouldn't it just figure that today of all days Caleb takes a 2 hour nap. Maybe DH has some secret I need to learn.

Sounds good so far! Safe travels and sending T&Ps for an awesome interview!
