Does anyone subscribe to Vegetarian Times? Is it good?
We're not full on vegetarian, but I won't cook meat during the week (I will make fish after H complained that sometimes he just doesn't feel full from the vegetarian meals). I use Martha Stewart's Meatless cookbook and generally love it and I have a Jewish vegetarian cookbook, but I'm a cookbook/recipe hor. I was considering subscribing the Vegetarian Times, but want to know if it's worth it.
Also, in exchange for the info, here's a recommendation for you. There's an IPad app called Recipe Book. Changed my life. It's so easy to import recipes from the Internet and categorize them. And create a shopping list. And a queue if you're like me and forget what you're planning to make each week. I think it's like $5.
I used to subscribe and I really liked it! I stopped because I feel like they recycle very similar recipes every few years, so the subscription is only worth it for a couple of years. Have you bought it in the grocery store? Also, all their recipes are on their website, so you can get an idea of their style. But I much preferred getting the magazine to browsing online. The articles are good and the recipes always have a theme.
