I've heard great things about Sorellina but still haven't been.
Me too, and ditto. Of course, I still haven't been to Deuxave, and friends of a friend own it. Oops.
There's also the Italian places in the burbs, Rock: La Campagnia, Il Casale, and Il Capriccio. We like La Campagnia a lot, but then again, we liked Craigie and you guys hated it, and we didn't like Salts all that much, and you love it. So maybe don't go with my rec's...

Ha! Now I'm on open table because I love looking for restaurants Oishii? Douzo? If you feel like sushi. It's been a while since I've been to either so I don't know if they're still any good.
Eastern Standard or Bergamot? I've never been to either of these but heard good things.

Eastern Standard is one of my faves, it's actually where we got engaged!
I'm dying to go to L'Espalier so can't wait to hear your review when ever you go.

We went to Eastern Standard a couple of weeks ago, before the Garbage show. The food was fine, but it was also loud and crowded and full of really annoying people. And we waited almost an hour for a table on a Wednesday night. (Though there were 5 of us, so that didn't help.) So I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a nice, quiet birthday dinner. Which means YOU'LL LOVE IT! Heh.
