XP from MM: Anyone have a Samsung (gas) range?

My mom is in the market for a new one and likes this one the best but until this weekend didn't realize Samsung even made appliances.

It was between this one and a similar LG model but the inside of the knobs on the LG is plastic and there are a lot of complaints online about them breaking or melting.

So... love? hate? indifferent?

I don't have one, but our local appliance srore guy was telling us that it is harder to get repairs on a Samsung, and that the Samsungs made in Korea are much better quality than the ones made in China (which is most of what is sold here now). He said that he used lto be a big fan, but has seen just too many issues lately.

We have all Samsung Electric appliances. I love them, support on them has been great, haven't needed any repairs.
