I have a container of heavy cream in the fridge. Any suggestions on how to use it up? I thought about making fettuccine alfredo, which I still might do, but that was the only thing that came to mind.
Or if you want to keep it simple, pasta, spaghetti sauce, and heavy cream and throw in a little garlic, oregano, italian seasoning, and basil for taste.

chocolate truffle pie!!
1.5 cups heavy cream 12 oz chocolate chips 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup powdered sugar sifted 1 graham cracker crust
put 3/4 cup of cream and the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, microwave in 30 second intervals stirring in between to combine. Once all the chips are melted & the mixture is smooth, mix in the vanilla & the powdered sugar. Let it come to room temp.
Once it comes to room temp, whip the remaining cream until it forms stiff peaks. Then mix in the chocolate mixture. Pour into the crust, chill for 8 hrs. Enjoy.
I addition to a lot of the things listed by pps, I use it in tikka masala sauce. I also use it in place of the butter/milk in boxed mac and cheese if I have it on hand (like if it calls for 2 Tbl of butter + 3 Tbl of milk, I just use 5 Tbl of cream).
I agree with the others - I have to force myself not to buy it most of the time because I will eat it in so many different ways. I have a container in my 'fridge now that I'm going to use to make a butternut squash bisque. Assuming it doesn't accidentally make its way into my coffee first, that is.

I'm confused about this issue using up heavy cream.
I use it in a tomato soup recipe I have and several Indian dishes that I cook. Extra goes in coffee, eggs, fancy hot chocolate, mashed potatoes, or whipped cream.

Substitute in anything you would use milk.
I like real cream in coffee or hot chocolate. It even makes instant taste so much richer. I also 2nd scrambled eggs. Once you start using it, you will always have some in the fridge. Its just so good.
