Our house has old fashioned drapes in the living room and dining room. They are on a pull, which is nice, but they are pretty dated.
I'm wondering what the current way to do window coverings is. Do you have some kind of a blind with a curtain? Just a lined curtain? Something else?
Our walls are Balanced Beige and we have a dark cream carpet and mushroom/tan couch.

Most of our windows are 2" faux wood blinds. Then in the bedrooms, DR and LR I have panels.
Our back doors have cordless roman shades, which I'm thinking of switching out for bamboo.
