Abe & Louie's maybe? I haven't been, but I've heard decent reviews of it. I've only ever had it at the Chart House, I think, and it was eh. So I'm not remotely helpful, heh.

Heh, exactly!
We went to Ruth's Chris a few years ago- I don't remember anything about the food, unfortunately, but we had such terrible service, we swore we'd never go back. But I know other people really like it.

Have you ever been to Durgin Park? It's loud, and with long picnic-style shared tables it's NOT romantic, and it's not a place to gaze lovingly into each other's eyes as a prelude to birthday sex. But ohmigawd, the food! The bread! The seafood! The meat! The prime rib your husband will get will be the size of a dinner plate!

I actually think the prime rib at durgin park is kind of cross (no offense MBJ!).
I would like to offer Frank's Steakhouse in Cambridge on Mass Ave as a selection. It is kind of near the Cambridge/Somerville line - like out past Porter Square and towards Route 2. It is classic, old school, and they have delicious prime rib.

You know, I wonder if they're all open? The Oak Room is smack in the middle of Copley. And Grill 23, Abe and Louis, and Capital Grille are right in the area.
