@poppyseed1017 and a couple of others have asked about it, but I was waiting for the photos to come back before I posted. It's long, sorry!
Long story short, it was amazing. We were married on 3/23 and it couldn't have been more perfect. I was less than pleased with the stunt our officiant pulled, but other than that everything went well. If something went wrong, no one told me about it...and bless their heart for that. Our officiant was supposed to send us our vows the week prior so we could review them, as we had very specific requests of what we did and didn't want. He ended up sending them to us the afternoon of the wedding when obviously, neither of us could review them. So we went into the ceremony basically not knowing our vows and he didn't listen to our requests. He would ask us to repeat things after saying a long sentence and I stumbled once because I couldn't remember what I was supposed to say but it was kind of funny. Our intro song was The Big Bang by Rock Mafia (www.youtube.com/watch?v=5etLRgwXmh0) (it's actually the theme song to VH1's Mob Wives show. We're klassy like that) and we danced to Led Zeppelin's Thank You. AND THEN. My H danced with his mom to some random song and after like, a minute The DJ cuts into Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up and H's brothers run out to the dance floor and start dancing too - yeah, H and his mom rickrolled everyone (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rickrolling). It. Was. Awesome. And a total surprise to me, H said if he had told me in advance he thought I'd be mad (which I wouldn't have, but whatever). We had a photo booth and a sundae bar that came out at about 10 pm. The bar tender later told my H that our wedding had 'above average' alcohol consumption for that particular venue. LOL I'm not surprised. The whole night was amazing, I wish I could re-live it. I had a blast, and I am so, so happy. Pics below :-)
