Should I try to exchange these mascaras at Sephora

Shortly after last Christmas, I bought a large kit at Sephora that contained mascara minis of various brands.

I'm a SAHM, so I don't wear makeup every day. I love me some freshly opened new mascara, so I've been using the mascara minis one at a time and I still have several unopened ones.

I have 3 that I opened and didn't use because what seemed like the entire container of mascara was all dried up and clumped on the mascara wand. When it happened the first time, I was disappointed, but didn't think much of it, as it was just one. But when I got to the third one, I started to wonder how many more were like that and if I should try exchanging the dried, clumped up minis.

Part of me wants to open the rest to see if they are clumped up and try to exchange them. Should I? I feel a little silly exchanging mascara minis that I bought 5 months ago.

ETA: In case I wasn't clear, I was thinking of exchange JUST the faulty mascaras, not the entire kit.
