They sent us a gift card for $20. I feel like that's pretty shitty, but whatever, I guess. It's unlikely Patsy and I will end up using it any time soon, because we're still pissed.
You should use the card. But they need to honor the sale and give you 20% off too.
I would demand they honor the sale that they screwed you out of in addition to the gift card. The offer still stands to drive around CT until I find the manager for you so I can beat him with my shoe.

I send the customer service rep another email telling her, basically, that the band aid was too small and that I'd be passing on my displeasure. So, SEE MY DISPLEASURE.

Post all of this on their Facebook group. Companies hate when people say bad things about them on FB. I guarentee you will get an immediate response with someone asking you to email them so they can make it right.

The customer service rep just emailed me again and said they should have let me participate in the sale (but doesn't offer me the chance to do so now) and said she's going to send me another gift card for $40. At least I can buy something online now.
