I have made it through my first full week of CF. WOW I am tired! I am going to go tomorrow for out team WOD and we have a strength and conditioning coach coming after to work on the Olympic lifts with us.
Anyways today we did testing just to get our baselines. I know I could have done a little better if we had done it on a Monday instead of Friday but it definitely made all of us newbies dig pretty deep.
We did:
Box jump max ht: 33.5in handstand push ups or hold: I did hold for 1:10 Pull-ups: I did assisted with blue band (read is least assistance then blue, then green, then black) and did 8. 400m run: 1:14sec 500m row: 2:11 sec
My ass was on fire after the row and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to stand back up to get off of the machine.
I am looking forward to resting tonight and Sunday!
Yea 400m run time is right. I actually slowed down at the turn around. I think I could have cut 4 secs if I powered through. I think there was one other girl so far today that ran faster with 1:06.
For the record though I have been out of high school for 8 years but I was pretty good in track. Not the best but held own. So I know that I have the potential to get faster.
But thanks for the congrats, I am feeling proud of myself and can't wait until we do this again to see how we progress!
Also I could not hold that pace for a mile! This was a sprint. My fastest mile in the last year and a half is 6:30 for just a mile
Yea I was just thinking before that your run time was "impossible" but after really using my brain, its not. I am not super fast buy my fastest 400m is 1:40 I think.
