Anybody here traveled to any of Utah's national parks? I've never been but we are closeish now to Arches and Canyon lands and didn't know if they were worth visiting with a 1 year old.
Yes! I went to college out there and it is beautiful! I suggest seeing them and doing a hike. I did Angel's Landing at Zion National Park. Probably wouldn't hike that with a baby though. The red rocks are so pretty.
I've been to a bunch of them. Zion and Bryce are my favorites. We went to capital reef and canyonlands too. I've been to Arches a few times when we lived in Colorado- we'd camp there at least once a year. With a baby it depends on when you go. There's no shade at arches and all the hikes are on the redrock. You would want to go in May or Sept/early Oct or else it is way too hot to be outside all day.
for some trails you could do a stroller (the ones on the ground) but the others you wouldn't be able to because it's a big rock and not even if you've never been to that part of the country it's beautiful and so different. Just don't go in the summer

I have never been to Utah! I think it looks so beautiful but know nothing about the landscape or the weather.
Utah is so beautiful, it varies too from north to south, east to west. I have not visited any of the popular parks there, but just wanted to say that Utah is my neighbor and I just got excited seeing a post about a place soo close to where I live. That is all.
