Do you still need a bendable sole

Once a baby is walking well? I'm excited to by him summer shoes and sandler but I wasn't sure if the bendable sole still applies.

I got Ada bendable shoes for this summer from Target. They aren't like sole-less like some shoes, but they bend pretty easy.

Lincoln is wearing regular sneakers now. I've found that most baby shoes are pretty bendy anyway. He has Vans on today.

I read it like that too and had to make sure I typed sole and not soul.

Not sure what "experts" say but my pedi recommends bendy shoes if absolutely necessary (Robeez, Pediped) while they are learning to walk and then once they are pretty active walkers shoes like Stride Rites, etc are acceptable.
