Is Violet still sleeping on her belly? Madison doesn't really flip in her crib too much anymore. I think she figured out she can do it and it lost it's novelty. If anything, she'll sleep on her side but is still usually flat on her back.

She does! I can't even try to stop her. And once she flips she never moves an inch. It's so funny/weird. I wish she was still a back sleeper, I felt much better about it!
Well, Madison enjoys long crawls on the beach and back rubs. lol
She's doing well with daycare but we kept her home today because she had a 103 fever last night. She was just staring at me with sad, blank eyes. I'm really hoping she STTN tonight because with the sickness she has been waking up and needing to be held for extended periods. Before I was back to work, no problem, but now I need to be saving lives during the day!
I mentioned in the other thread that she has been 'pushing up' to stand but then gets stuck with her butt in the air. She's too funny. I just wish she would pull to stand already because she wants to stand but can't get there.

Pushing up to stand is great! But poor sick baby, I hope she feels better!
Violet has been pulling up to her knees but she can mainly do it from the sitting position and she has trouble getting herself into the sitting position, so... I guess it's still a good thing! Our new PT is awesome and I really like him. Although he is very focused on having her stand as much as possible which seems to be the opposite of everyone else who is insisting that crawling is more important than walking.
She is also finally babbling with consonants! Every "mama" melts my heart . There's a small chance she knows what it means but I'm not convinced.
Poor baby! I hope she's feeling better soon. And sleeping better too. Nighttime cuddle sessions are no bueno when mama needs to work the next day!
P.S. I like how you qualified Violet C. as "one of" your favorites. I also especially like the way you spell favorite.
I can't even just hit the 'like' button on this. I don't think I could chose a favourite Violet. And, yeah, I'm fancy like that adding u's all willy nilly.
Do you have a new PT or is this still homeless, fightclub PT?
Eek to mama and consonants! Go, V!
Madison doesn't really say m's at all. ONCE today I asked her to say 'mama' and she did but just the once. She seems to have problems with the m's.
We have two PTs now, haha. The good one is private and the scary one is free through Early Intervention. We have to give the scary guy a few more weeks before we can request a new one so we're just sticking with it. My H works from home on Thursdays so I don't have to be alone with him!
I think most babies have trouble with M's and mama. Strangely, Violet says mama more than anything and also makes a "V" sound a lot which seems hard too right?

Our PT had Audrey standing before anything else. I think it really helps build strength in their arms and legs that they can use for crawling. Pulling to kneel is so great!! And sitting on her own! Audrey just got that in the last month. She's going to be pulling to stand in no time. Hopefully you don't go through the month of her not knowing how to get back down. Go Violet!!

I'm glad to hear you did that too! In the couple weeks of having her stand her strength has really improved.
